Data Usage Policy

KidsRights is proud to contribute to the advancement of children’s rights by annually developing the KidsRights Index – a valuable tool to measure the performance of countries on children’s rights. The KidsRights Index data is widely used by stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, media, child and human rights defenders, civil society organisations, businesses and financial institutions.

We encourage non-commercial usage of the KidsRights Index data to support children’s rights research, to raise awareness about children’s rights, and to advocate for policy changes for the improvement of children’s rights.

Scientific data requests: We can provide customised data sets (ranks, scores and clusters, over a period). For specific data inquiries, please contact index@kidsrights.org. We will charge a nominal processing fee and will ask you to sign a non-disclosure agreement with us.

Commercial data requests: For any commercial usage of the KidsRights Index data, we will charge an annual license fee. For license and specific data inquires, please contact index@kidsrights.org.

If you use any data, rankings, or insights from the KidsRights Index report or our webpages for any purpose, we require you to explicitly acknowledge our work.

Donate to drive systemic change for children

As an independent children’s rights organization, we rely on donations to support our work. Your donation helps us in driving systemic change for the benefit of all children.
