2025 was a year in which young changemakers around the world demonstrated what is possible. Bana Alabed from Syria received the International Children’s Peace Prize for her courageous advocacy on behalf of children in conflict zones. At the same time, the KidsRights Index brought global attention to the mental health crisis among young people, and State of Youth grew into a movement with more than 700 chapters in 70 countries. Together, we amplified the voices of young people who are already creating change today.
