Any person or organization can nominate a child for assessment by the expert committee . To nominate a child, a nomination form (2026 Nominations are closed) must be completed.

  • A child older than 12 and younger than 18; (the child may not be older than 17 at the time of nomination)
  • From all corners of the world;
  • The child must have a clear history of standing up and fighting for their own rights and those of other children. It is important that the child has an active approach to achieving this goal, which has led to a concrete result;
  • Ability to travel abroad and feel comfortable communicating with other people;
  • The child agrees to be nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize.

NB. A group of children may be nominated, provided that each individual in the group has made a demonstrable effort and co-initiated activities that have led to an exceptional difference for children’s rights and the position of vulnerable children worldwide (organizations as a whole are not taken into consideration).
